Stuffed cabbage rolls

 

Oven Stuffed Cabbage Rolls, This recipe relies on cabbage leaves garnished with a delicious stuffing of minced meat, whether it's beef or veal... The filling can vary according to the leftover meat you want!!

* ingredients :

°10 leaves of Chinese cabbage

°350 g minced meat

°100 grams of rice

°1 egg

°1 tablespoon parsley

°50 cl tomato coulis

°1 clove garlic

°2 tablespoons olive oil

°1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

°1 teaspoon ras el hanout

* Preparation:

  Fry the minced meat over a low heat with only olive oil and set aside.

Then adding cook rice, egg & parsley.

Seasoning fill with salt & pepper. Mix everything well and let it cool.

Lay each roll on your work surface, and sponge with absorbent paper if necessary.

Put the filling across the width of each cabbage leaf, fold it on both sides, then roll it like a spring roll.

Then tie in 3 places, for extra precaution, with either toothpicks or food floss.

Cook it for 30 minutes, or cook it in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 minutes.

In a separate saucepan, cook olive oil with a finely chopped clove of garlic for a few seconds, then add the tomato coulis

Season with salt, pepper and ras el hanout. To reduce the acidity of the tomato sauce, add a small pinch of cinnamon powder.

10. Serve the cabbage rolls stuffed with tomato sauce in a good bowl.
